Rates

Our clinicians bill for standard 50-minute sessions. Session fees vary based on each clinician’s licensure level and experience, with rates ranging from $90 to $225 per session.

Insurance

Many private practice mental health counselors choose not to participate as in-network providers with insurance companies in order to offer high-quality, client-centered care. Insurance panels often require extensive administrative work, limit the length and type of treatment, and may require clinicians to assign a mental health diagnosis even when it is not clinically necessary or in the client’s best interest. Remaining out of network allows counselors to focus fully on individualized treatment, clinical autonomy, and the therapeutic relationship rather than insurance requirements.

As out-of-network providers, we do not bill insurance directly. However, many insurance plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network mental health services. Clients are responsible for payment at the time of service but may submit a reimbursement claim to their insurance company if their plan includes out-of-network benefits. Upon request, we can provide a detailed receipt (often called a “superbill”) to assist with this process.

We encourage clients to contact their insurance provider directly to determine their specific out-of-network mental health benefits and reimbursement options.

Payment

We accept cash, checks, Health Savings card and all major credit cards as forms of payment.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 36 hours beforehand. We bill the full service fee for cancellations made within 36 hours.
