About Emily Carroll
Emily is an Associate Professional Counselor with a Master's Degree in Counselor Education. An Athens local since graduating from the University of Georgia in 2017, her background includes working with college students and young adults in ministry and higher education settings.
Her approach to therapy is all about building self-awareness, healing from the inside out, and creating more space to feel calm, confident, and connected to who you really are. She uses principles from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and attachment science to help her clients create a space for deep healing, more secure relationships, and a stronger sense of self. She supports her clients in understanding how early relationships influence the way they connect with others and themselves today. Through compassionate exploration of their inner world, she helps them make sense of their lived experiences and shift out of patterns that no longer serve them. When appropriate, spirituality is thoughtfully integrated into the therapeutic process.
