About Whitney Hamilton
Whitney Hamilton is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor who works with individuals ages 8 and up, offering compassionate support through a wide range of life challenges. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Georgia.
Whitney’s clinical experience includes working with clients dealing with grief, anxiety, anger management, addiction, relationship struggles, and significant life transitions. She takes a personalized approach to therapy, recognizing that each client’s journey is unique. Her work is grounded in humanistic principles and often integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths-Based Therapy (SBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Whitney strives to create a safe, accepting environment where clients feel heard and supported. Her goal is to help individuals identify their strengths, work through challenges, and make meaningful progress toward their personal goals. Whether addressing ongoing stressors or navigating periods of growth and change, Whitney is committed to walking alongside her clients every step of the way.
